I'm a Systems Engineer at Infosys, Mangalore, working on the Infra & DevOps team. I design and run the platform clients land on: CloudFront distributions, S3 origins, EKS clusters behind Kong, and the CI/CD pipelines that push code from a laptop to production.
From academic foundation to orchestrating production-grade cloud systems
I graduated in Computer Science & Engineering from SMVITM, Udupi with a 9.3 CGPA. My first six months at Infosys were spent in training in Mysore, where I went deep on Java, Python, DSA, and database/SQL fundamentals — then moved into full-stack work with React, Node.js, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, building an iCinema project end to end.
Now based in Mangalore, I work on the Infra & DevOps team, where I own pieces of the platform that new clients land on. That means configuring CloudFront distributions and origin behaviors, setting up S3 buckets for frontend assets, wiring ACM certificates, and managing the EKS clusters — with traffic routed through an Nginx ingress controller, load balancer, and Kong, where I configure services, routes, plugins, and JWT token validation.
Outside of infra, I build applied ML projects — from a glaucoma detection system to a plagiarism-risk dashboard that compares submitted code and flags high-risk matches.

Apr 2026 — Present- Own platform setup for new client onboarding end to end on AWS.
- Configure CloudFront distributions, cache behaviors and origins; manage S3 buckets for frontend asset delivery.
- Run EKS clusters with traffic through Nginx ingress controller and a load balancer, secured with ACM certificates.
- Set up Kong API Gateway — services, routes, plugins and JWT-based auth for backend traffic.

Nov 2024 — Apr 2025- Built a responsive Movie Finder web app using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and third-party APIs.
- Deployed on Vercel with an automated deployment pipeline.
Machine Learning Research Intern
Oct 2023 — Nov 2023- Built a predictive stock price model using Linear Regression and ARIMA on historical market data.
- Visualized insights with Matplotlib and improved accuracy through hyperparameter tuning.

CloudFront distributions with tuned cache behaviors, S3 buckets as frontend origins, and ACM-managed TLS certificates for every client domain.
Cluster & routing
Backend workloads run on EKS. Traffic enters through an Nginx ingress controller behind a load balancer before it ever reaches a pod.
Gateway & auth
Kong sits in front of services — I configure routes, plugins, and JWT validation so each client's APIs are authenticated and rate-limited correctly.

GitHub Actions and Helm charts handle build, package and deploy, so onboarding a new client is a repeatable workflow, not a one-off.

Code Plagiarism Risk Dashboard
Compares submitted code across users and flags high-risk matches, surfacing which submissions copy which — with a visual risk score per user and side-by-side code comparison.
iCinema
Full-stack movie platform built during Infosys training — React frontend talking to a Spring Boot backend over REST APIs, covering auth, listings and bookings end to end.
Glaucoma Detection System
Image-processing pipeline that calculates the Cup-to-Disc ratio from fundus images using K-Means clustering and morphological ops, deployed via Flask for real-time predictions at 87% accuracy.
Stock Price Prediction
Predicts next-day closing prices from live Yahoo Finance data, engineering SMA, EMA and RSI features and applying Linear Regression — ~92% accuracy, visualized with Matplotlib.
Tomato & Bell Pepper Disease Detection
Mobile crop-disease classifier using a lightweight MobileNet model on-device, with a Flask backend feeding a Flutter frontend for real-time detection in the field.
